After having an excellent Indian meal at Laguna in Nottingham on Tuesday evening it was time to prepare to travel to Southport.DGE Gordon McGlone collected Vasant and Indira to host them for the day with a visit to Aquabox. Gordon then travelled to Southport with Vasant and Indira the following day.
We then went into panic mode and realised that we really needed a large van to take all of the things needed for Conference! By the time we had dealt with emails, telephone calls and correspondence it was mid afternoon and we heaved a sigh of relief when we locked the front door! We arrived in Southport after an easy journey and met up with some of the Conference committee for dinner. A lovely relaxing occasion before the anxiety began!
