Reg Dean is the oldest man in the UK at 108 and he hopes to be 109 on 4 November!It is a sobering thought that Reg was born 3 years before Rotary was formed.
He is an Honorary Member of the Rotary Club of Wirksworth where he still regularly attends their meetings.
Reg still has a twinkle in his eye, a wicked sense of humour and I thought that he was not going to let go of me!
He was very impressed to meet RIBI President Jim Moulson and Reg demonstrated that his mind is as sharp as ever and we were fascinated litening to him talking about his time in Burma as an Army Padre.
