I had not felt well since returning form the depths of India 2 weeks ago and after I collapsed at work it was time to see the GP.
I gave pints of blood for testing and squeezed a water sample then waited for the results.
These showed good news and bad news. The good - I do not have Malaria.
The bad - it could be Dengu Fever which is prevalent in India and I have all of the symptoms!
It is not contagious but I am not a good patient and my temper is catching so I took to my bed. Terry is a superb nurse and a good cook, if only I felt like eating. For several days I only got up to go to a Rotary event then back to bed. It's surprising what you can do when you have to. Terry would say, "Come on, look lively, get your makeup on , smile and get out there". How sympathetic.
