I was contacted at short notice ( less than a week) to ask if we had an event involving Rotarians as BBC Radio 4 are doing a programme on the changing face of Rotary and they wanted to interview some of the Sherwood Sunrisers.
RIBI President Jim Moulson and RIBI PR Officer Rebecca Wallace and the RIBI Rotaract Chairman came along to the Sherwood Sunrisers garden in the City Hospital, Nottingham. We were having our autumnal clear up and the BBC reporters were very impressed. There are more details on the RIBI website and the programme will be broadcast in Januart 2011. The garden has received awards from Nottingham in Bloom and been awarded a Green Pennant for 2 years running - a national award.
A group of Rotaractors from the Nottingham club also came to help.
