This evening I attended an event at the City Hospital in Nottingham organised by a group of Churches and consultants. The event raised funds towards a hospital being built in a remote area of Pakistan. Unfortunately the project is on hold due to the political situation in the region.
Rotarian Ifti from Derby South is the prime mover for the project being a surgeon himself. Ifti together with a group of doctors from Nottingham and Derby set up a field hospital soon after the earthquake in Pakistan.
