Plans to stay overnight in Bradford on Saturday were abandoned at the last minute when an invitation was received from John Holmes at BBC Radio Nottingham to review the Sunday newspapers on Sunday morning. This gave an opportunity to promote Rotary and in particular Focus on the Crocus and the End Polio Now programme.After a hectic week we relaxed at one of our favourite occupations - watching Nottinham Panthers easily beat Newcastle Vipers at the Ice Stadium. We were joined on this occasion by ice hockey virgin and District Secretary, Pauline Johnston! She did not stop laughing and loved the fights!
